During the preparation of each order, the purchased item is carefully placed inside its gift box, closed and placed inside a padded envelope that will then be sealed.
The padded envelope could also be inserted into the envelope of the courier responsible for delivery: DHL – SDA – BRT. The courier envelope will then be carefully sealed to prevent tampering and / or loss of contents.
Before accepting and pick up your package, it’s important to check the envelope of the courier and the padded envelope, and ensure that:
- it is not empty (check by touch);
- be perfectly sealed;
- there are no signs of tampering and / or damage such as holes, tears, cuts, even partial.
In the presence of even one of the events like these, it is NECESSARY to affix on the receipt the words “ACCEPT WITH RESERVE OF VERIFY CONTENT” and then sign it for collection.
This procedure is necessary in order to protect against the carrier in case of damage or theft of the merchandise.
The procedure is the same even in case of delivery by the postal agent (postman).
Lastly, you’ll want to take with your smartphone the moment of the opening of the package and the box in it, for it to be verified any anomaly in case of dispute to the courier charge of delivery or the item received.
